Nonprofit Attorney Sandra Pfau Englund Calls On IRS & Congress to Suspend Autorevocation Program

Due to errors in a new IRS system, the federal tax-exempt status of thousands of nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations is being revoked in error. According to nonprofit attorney Sandra Pfau Englund, the IRS knows of the problem, but instead of fixing it is insisting these organizations reapply for federal tax exempt status.

Project ReStart Helps Nonprofits Regain Tax Exempt Status

Pfau Englund Nonprofit Law, P.C., a firm focusing on the needs of nonprofit, tax-exempt organizations, has launched Project ReStart in response to the IRS' recent revocation of the tax exempt status of 275,000 organizations.
