Two Supreme Court cases decided in June 1998 extend employer liability for sexual harassment. In general, employers should:
a) promptly investigate any claims of sexual harassment and take appropriate disciplinary action immediately;
b) educate staff and volunteers regarding sexual harassment.
One of largest basis for legal claims today. In general, treat all qualified applicants, volunteers and employees, as similarly as possible. Promptly investigate any claim of discrimination. Make appropriate accomodations whenever possible.
