BOARD MEMBERSHIP, IS IT A POWER PLAY?

Have you ever wondered what motivates people to serve on nonprofit boards? At least some people? In this fun and interactive workshop staff and board members learn what motivates them, and others, to volunteer, and how to use that knowledge to build a better board. Participants take and interpret their own story-board test…and talk about what it all means. You may know your Myers Briggs, but do you know your Power Personality?

This interactive workshop will bring your top staff up-to-date on the numerous changes that have occurred in association law - including ever-changing employment laws, antitrust issues, and nonprofit governance matters. First an assessment will be made to determine where you are most vulnerable to attack. Next, your current conditioning will be checked by having each participating manager complete a pretest of their legal knowledge. Based on the results, the Association Law Boot camp will be tailored to your organization’s particular weaknesses.

Is it altruism? Or is it power? Find out in this new workshop!
